Furniture boards
A basic raw material used to production of the office furniture are: the MDF and HDF board, the chipboard.

The MDF and HDF boards are the products made as a result of wood- fibres pressing with the organic uniting and hardening compounds, in conditions of high-pressure and temperatures. This is material with the homogeneous density and the raw material composition in the whole section, thanks to what it possesses the excellent mechanical workability in the processing.
The MDF- the Medium Density Fibreboard -is a basic material to furniture production and articles of the interiors finish such as garnish rails, wall- panels , coffers and also to production of the builder′s woodwork articles , eg. door. With regards to the surface values , they are suitable for coverings with thin melamine films , lacquering and stickings with the artificial and natural veneer.The MDF board is an ideal substitute for natural wood , by what it does not contain any structural imperfections met usually in wood, such as knots or the crack. The uniform composition and the uniform density of MDF boards makes them ideal to the machinery in order to obtain the most ingenious shapes and profiles.
The MDF raw boards:
The thickness /mm/:6;8;10;12;16;18;19;22;25;28;30;38;;
Standard sizes /mm/:1830 x 2800; 2070 x 2800;
The HDF board-- High Density Fibreboard is the board from wood- fibres. It characterizes with the large hardness and the elevated density.The HDF boards are carrying material to laminating with HPL and CPL, resinous papers and natural veneers. They are used in the furniture making- back sides of furniture, bottom parts of drawers, furniture upholstery.
The raw and varnished HDF boards:
The thickness /mm/:3,2;
Standard sizes /mm/:1830 x 2800;
Chipboards, from which furniture is executed, are divided, with regard to the use, into the melamine chipboards and veneered chipboards.
The raw chipboards are three-layered boards with a homogeneous middle layer and with a very dense homogeneous topcoat. From dried up and covered with glue shaving is formed drily the carpet, which is exposed to the process of pressing.The glue,brought in the process of sticking becomes hardened in the press, under the temperature influence, binding the board. The raw chipboards are characterized by the high endurance.
The melamine chipboards are received in the process of melamining three-layered chipboards or MDF boards, covered one-sidedly or two-sidedly with the heat-hardening resins papers , what gives finally the finish of surfaces, which don't need the further processing. The process of board melamining, consists in pressing the decorative film to the chipboard. A decorative film used to the melamining is a decorative paper with weight of 60-100g/.m2 twice saturated- first with the carbamide resin and then with the melamine resin.
Depending on the paper- carrier pattern the films of the wide scale of patterns are produced.
The thickness /mm/:18;
Standard formats /mm/:1830 x 2500; 2070 x 2800;
The veneered chipboards are the chipboards, stuck with natural veneers. They are used to production of the higher standard furniture.
The thickness /mm/:18;
Standard formats /mm/:600 x 2500; 910 x 2500; 1220 x 2500;
Kinds of veneers: the oak, the beech, the birch, the cherry, the ash, the mahogany..
The natural veneers used in the furniture industry, serve as the sticking of furniture elements and other products from the sawn timber board materials. The usage of natural veneers raises the aesthetical appearance of products, at the expense of the minimal waste of five-star wood. Depending on the colouristic scale, it differentiates
exotic veneers, i.e.American cherry, the pine, the Finnish birch , the Canadian maple and others., and also the national veneers such as the beech, the oak, and also the alder.
